According to the Gary Keller and the Millionaire Real Estate Agent, there are three major sides to the MREA business triangle: Leads, Listings, and Leverage. Often in my experience coaching business owners for years it has always been the leverage piece that seems to plateau most dreams.
Real Estate agents that I work with are usually either looking to double their business working the same hours or working half the time and getting the same current results. Both of these objectives take leverage.
Leverage comes in three forms according to Keller in the MREA. It comes in the form of people, systems, and technology. Take a few moments to give yourself what I like to call a "Leverage Assessment". Make three columns on a sheet of paper and list all the resources you have in each of the three categories. Who are all of the people that support you or could support your business? Spouse, peer associates, coach, accountant, instructors, attorney, etc...? What systems do you have in place or available to you? Checklists, folders, schedule, daily rituals, etc...? What technology do you have or is available to you? Phone, computer, apps, programs, etc...?
After making the comprehensive list, you may notice a few things that you have neglected. You may also notice a few things that are missing. Awareness is the first step, clarity is the second. What specifically does your business require for you to make the breakthrough? The third step is ACTION.
